About Me

I’m just a guy who loves Jesus, was radically changed by God’s grace, and now spends his time writing Bible-based booklets to help others through life’s struggles.

Meeting Jesus at 28

I was baptized and accepted Jesus as my Savior when I was 28. I was on fire for the Lord and even read through the entire Bible for the first time. But when I finished, I found myself thinking, Okay… where’s the life-changing wisdom and knowledge I was expecting?

The Long Road of Growth

About ten to fifteen years later, I read through the Bible again, and some scriptures began to really stick with me. Life still rolled on as usual until 18 years later, when I finally studied the Bible. That’s when things truly changed. God’s Word came alive, and the Holy Spirit got to work in a big way.

The Second Baptism

I was baptized the first time to get married in the church.  During my fourth time through Scripture—this time with serious study—the Holy Spirit prompted me to be baptized again.  After months of the Spirit gently nudging me, I finally said, “Okay, You win. I’ll get baptized. The Holy Spirit also made it clear that it had to be at Beulah Beach, Lake Erie.

Freedom from Alcohol

For most of my life, I was an alcoholic. On the day of my baptism, all I could think about was getting home to drink with my dad. But God had better plans. When it was my turn, I heard, “I baptize you in the name of the Father and of the Son…” and down I went—under the water for what felt like forever. I never heard “the Holy Spirit.”

When I came up, everything changed. Just like that, my desire for alcohol was gone entirely. God took it from me—fully, finally, and miraculously.

A New Mission

Since then, my heart has been all about studying God’s Word. As I grew in my faith, I started paying more attention to my family and what they were struggling with—unforgiveness, anger, anxiety, and worry. I knew they probably wouldn’t dig into the Bible as I had, so I decided to create short booklets based on what Scripture says about each of those issues.

The amazing thing? Other people started reading them, too—and finding help and hope through them.

With a little web-building experience under my belt, I figured a blog site would be a great way to share these resources with even more people. My prayer is that it will be a blessing to you, just like God’s Word has been to me.

Let’s Connect

If any part of my story resonates with you, feel free to explore the blog or reach out. I’m just here to share what God has done and continues to do through His Word.
